Kevin has over 28 years experience from operative to management posts with some of the country’s largest construction companies. His specialist roles are in Management, Health and Safety advice and training, plus NVQs for Civil Engineering and plant. Kevin is also involved in the ongoing development of C&G´s qualifications and recording systems which simplifies the route to achievement both for the candidate and the Awarding Body.

A bricklayer and site foreman for more than 25 years, John went on to teach bricklaying and general construction skills for 10 years having gained a teaching certificate, a further 4 years with CITB as an On Site Assessment and Training Advisor, and a period as a CITB/City & Guilds Accredited NVQ Centre manager before joining C&G Assessments Ltd. As a member of the centre’s development team, he also contributes to the quality systems.
Frank TopleyTrainer/Assessor for: ENTO Learning and Development Awards
Before joining C&G Assessments in January 2005 Frank was a consultant for City & Guilds, in the role of Chief Verifier/Construction Verification Manager. Other roles include seminar presenter for Regional Advisory Boards, Education and Training Boards and as a peripatetic internal verifier and assessor for colleges, private training providers and industry. Frank is also an E.N.T.O. trainer/assessor for Sheffield College. Franks occupational background is in the craft of Decoration and Signwork and following some years in the industry his career in training and development started with apprentices at Shirecliffe College, Sheffield. He is well respected and widely known both in this country and abroad and his advice on all matters training is often sought.

Dave’s career started as a bricklaying apprentice and he achieved City & Guilds Craft and Advanced Craft certificates. Dave has worked on new build housing and commercial contracts through to refurbishment and maintenance contracts. He has experience in a number of management roles. A qualified Internal verifier and CITB/City & Guilds assessor, he is a valued member of the team.
Brian BarkerPlant Instructor/Assessor for: Specialised Plant and Machinery Operations (NVQ/ICT) Construction and Civil Engineering Services Level 2 Formworking Levels 2 & 3, Steelfixing Levels 2 & 3 Foundation Construction Award. Intermediate Construction Award-Construction Operations
With over 30 years experience, Brian was, for 10 years, director of his own construction company. He has experience in contracting full works on domestic and civil engineering contracts and managing projects for other clients. Brian is a fully trained and qualified plant trainer, instructor and assessor.
