The Scaffolding Part 1 course is for operatives who have a minimum of 6 months experience within the scaffolding industry. The course provides an introduction to scaffolding, covering the safe erection and alteration of a range of scaffolding structures. On completion of the course operatives will have an understanding of the statutory regulations, the knowledge and skill to be able to safely erect, as a member of a team, various scaffold structures. The course provides an introduction to scaffolding, covering the safe erection and alteration of a range of scaffolding structures. The course is a hands on course, with practical sessions to compliment the classroom theory sessions. On completion of the course operatives will be able to interpret simple scaffold drawings. They will also be able, as a member of a team, to erect, alter and dismantle various scaffolds safely and in the correct sequence. On successfully completing the course operatives will be issued with a CISRS Scaffolding Part 2 Certificate.
