This course is for operatives who are required to operate or change abrasive wheels and cutting off discs. On completion of the course operatives will have an understanding of the correct mounting of abrasive wheels/cutting off discs, safe use of all powered saws within the construction industry and all relevant legislation and codes of practice. On successful completion of the course delegates will be issued with an In-house certificate.
This course is for delegates who require basic practical experience and knowledge of manual handling and lifting techniques. At the end of the course delegates will have a good understanding of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations and the ergonomic principles that should be applied to reduce the risk of manual handling injuries. On successful completion of the course delegates will be issued with an In-house certificate.
The Work at Height Regulations 2005, require that the assembly, dismantling or alteration of Mobile Access Towers should only be undertaken by a competent person or if being trained, under supervision of a competent person. This training programme enables a delegate to safely erect, move, inspect and dismantle various types of Mobile Access Towers.
