Abrasive Wheels, fitted to powered saws, are used in the construction industry to cut or shape bricks, blocks, lintels, reinforcing steel and just about any other hard material used in the industry.
Who’s the course for?
All personnel required to operate or change Abrasive Wheels and ‘cutting off’ discs.
Course Aims and Objectives
To know the main hazards of work equipment in general and the main safety rules and safe practices that must be used. On completion of the course the operative will have an understanding of the correct mounting of abrasive wheels/cutting off discs, safe use of all powered saws within the construction industry and all relevant Legislation and Codes of Practice.

The definition of an Abrasive Wheel.Course Duration – ½ Day

An In House Certificate will be issued on completion and payment of the course.
