C&G Sponsor Under 6′s Football Team

In 2007, a new under 6′s football team was created called “Dunscroft Welfare”. From the outset, C&G provided sponsorship ensuring that the fledgling squad had the resources required to get started.

Throughout 2008 and 2009, Dunscroft made their mark, winning every friendly match and pushing through to the finals and semi- finals in a number of tournaments.  In the season of 2008/2009 they managed to win 23 out of 26 games and scored a massive 186 goals while only conceding 16. This success led to an invitation to play at the Manchester City Tournament in Bradford.

Dunscroft now have players at Manchester City, Rotherham, Doncaster Rovers, Leeds United and Barnsley, while the current team have already enjoyed a run of success throughout the summer of 2009. In charge as team manager is C&G assessor Graham Amery along with his son Harry as club captain and Andy Beaglehole as club coach, who also holds UEFA pro-licence badge. The team are now ready for the new season and C&G are proud to continue their sponsorship.
