About Us

Founded in 2003, C&G Assessments and Training Ltd are proud of our history of delivering training to our clients in our home town of Sheffield and across the UK. We have gained a reputation for responding and delivering what our customers need and pride ourselves on our levels of customer service. We are accredited to deliver NVQs through various awarding bodies and are a CITB Approved Training Organisation & CPCS Test Centre.

Our achievement and retention rates are outstanding. This is because we offer excellent advice, guidance and support to all our learners and employers, offering additional support for learners with differing learning requirements. Learners receive appropriate information, advice and guidance throughout their programme with accurate progression routes identified and discussed.

We work closely with ConstructionSkills and City & Guilds plus other awarding bodies to guide and support construction companies through the process of qualifying their workforce. A major part of our business is working with employers who need their workforce to achieve an NVQ. This is, in most cases, through the ‘On Site Assessment and Training’ (OSAT) route. The driver for this being Build UK’s insistence on the entire workforce on its sites having a CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Card.

We take pride in working speedily but efficiently to help companies achieve a fully-qualified workforce in order for them to compete and comply with the ever-changing requirements of their clients’ needs, expectations and Health and Safety legislation.

We also specialise in the critical area of Health and Safety training, offering a variety of qualifications from one-day short courses to NEBOSH Certificates.
