cg-web-logoC&G Assessments and Training Ltd gained CITB/City & Guilds Accreditation to deliver National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ’s) in March 2003. We are now an established training company with a number of blue chip companies on our books. We have gained a reputation for quality and customer service.

Our achievement and retention rates are outstanding and above the national average. This is because we offer excellent advice, guidance and support to all our learners and employers, offering additional support for learners with differing learning requirements. Learners receive appropriate information, advice and guidance throughout their programme with accurate progression routes identified and discussed.

C&G work closely with ConstructionSkills, City and Guilds, Construction Awards Alliance and other Awarding Bodies to guide and support construction companies through the process of qualifying their workforce. A major part of our work is in working with employers who want their workforce to achieve an NVQ. This is, in most cases, through the ‘On Site Assessment and Training’ (OSAT) route. The driver for this being the Major Contractors Group’s insistence on the entire workforce on its sites having a CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Card.

C&G take pride in working speedily but efficiently to help companies achieve a goal of having a fully qualified workforce in order for them to complete and comply with the ever changing requirements of their clients’ needs, expectations and Health and Safety legislation.

Our next major service provision is in the area of Health and Safety offering a variety of qualifications from one day short courses to NEBOSH Certificates.
